We here at Cold-Blooded Carnival wish to promote and encourage the captive breeding of pythons, boas, and all the beautiful reptiles currently in the trade. With population density decreasing annually it is important to urge away from buying wild caught creatures. We captive breed healthy animals so you can enjoy maintaining and interacting with reptiles without taking them from their natural home.

People capture animals in the wild and sell them for fast money. Not only does this hurt the animal as a species and the ecosystem from which it comes from - but this also introduces a variety of problems for would be responsible keepers. Wild caught animals are often nervous and aggresive putting the owner and the animal at risk to injury. The health of a wild caught animal is never certain. I have heard many stories of keepers buying a wild caught specimen that introduced a virus into their collection. Wether you buy a wild caught animal or a captive bred one - make sure you practice proper quarentine procedures.

With every animal we sell we include a detailed care sheet along with a feed and shed history. If you have absolutly ANY questions about your animal or an animal you are considering we will gladly answer them to the best of our ability.

Thank you,
Ross H.
